Opening Cortado Workplace

• After installing you will find the application "Cortado Workplace" in the main menu of your mobile phone.
• Open Cortado Workplace via its application icon.

• When you open Cortado Workplace for the first time, you will be prompted to register.
• After you registered successfully you will receive a welcome e-mail with your login credentials. Please read the e-mail instructions carefully.

Login

• If you already have a Cortado Workplace account, navigate from the REGISTER page to the LOGIN page by tapping on the icon in the bottom right of the display.

• You can use the same Workplace account on different devices.
• Enter your e-mail address and your password to login.

Storage on a SD card

• Cortado Workplace can be saved on your SD card instead of storing it directly on your phone. To do this, open the menu on your Android device. Then, tap SETTINGS > APPLICATIONS > CORTADO WORKPLACE > MANAGE APPLICATIONS > MOVE TO SD CARD.

Accessing folders and files

• LOCAL DRIVES: Use this directory for documents saved locally on your device.
  
• CORTADO WORKPLACE: Use this directory to access files and folders saved in your personal password-protected online storage. You can upload files to the directory via a web browser. You can also link the Cortado Workplace directory to your PC » or Mac » via WebDAV or copy files to there from your "Local Drive" directory. • CORTADO MAIL: Here you can find all e-mail attachments that you have forwarded to your Cortado Workplace. To do so, forward the respective e-mail to save@workplace.cortado.mobi
  
  Please note:When sending documents to your Workplace account the sender's e-mail address must resemble the registered Workplace e-mail address. Otherwise the e-mail attachment can't be assigned to your Workplace account.

Organizing Folders

• Open the default folder MYDOCUMENTS.
• A short tap on a folder opens a list of your stored files.

• Tap the folder and keep your finger on the folder for a moment. Now you have the possibility to select from the following options:
  - Delete
  - Rename
  - Properties.

• To set up a new folder, tab the menu point on your toolbar and then select the NEW FOLDER icon.

Choose view

• You can choose whether to display your files in lists or tiles. To choose which option, tap on the menu button of your Android device.
• Tap on the SETTINGS menu, and then on FILE.

• At PORTRAIT and LANDSCAPE, you can choose how your files are displayed.

File functions

• Search for a file you require by first opening the appropriate folder by taping it briefly.
• Tap the file and keep your finger on the file for a moment. The following options are offered:
  - Open
  - Preview
  - Print
  - Send as e-mail
  - Delete
  - Copy
  - Cut
  - Rename
  - Properties

Open files

• To edit a document from your Workplace account, tap OPEN.
• Now you can choose in which program to open your document. At this point you can choose all programs on your device suitable for editing that file format. For example, a Word file can be opened with Quickoffice.

Print files

• Select a file and tap on the task PRINT. (see File Functions). Now you have the possibility to choose between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi printers.
• If you want to use a Bluetooth printer, first select the printer and then the suitable printer type.
• After you have selected the Wi-Fi option, all printers that are available in your Wi-Fi are displayed.
• Alternatively, you can manually enter the IP address of a desired printer. To do so tap ENTER MANUALLY.
• Then choose the manufacturer and then the respective driver.

• In order to print in your private Wi-Fi network you require a Wi-Fi router that supports a printer connection. For further information, consult your Wi-Fi router manual. Please ensure that the printer as well as your mobile device are connected via Wi-Fi. You can now print directly via Wi-Fi with Cortado Workplace without having to turn on your computer.
• If your smartphone does not automatically detect your printer, please select ADD PRINTER and enter your Wi-Fi router's IP address. Many routers have 192.168.1.1 as their IP address. For further information, consult your Wi-Fi router manual.

Printing e-mail attachments

• To print an e-mail attachment, first open your e-mail program on your Android device. Tap the desired e-mail attachment and hold your finger a moment on this file.
• Then tap OPEN. Select in the window "Complete action using" the option CORTADO WORKPLACE.
• Then tap PRINT. Continue as described with Print Files.

• You can save your e-mail attachment to your Cortado Workplace. To do so, tap SEND TO WORKPLACE.
• Enter and confirm a file name.
• You will then find the file in your CORTADO WORKPLACE drive.

Browser printing

• To print the contents of a web page, tap the menu button on your Android device.
• Tap on MORE in the menu and then on SHARE PAGE.

• Then select CORTADO WORKPLACE.
• Then tap PRINT and continue as described with Print Files.
