Activating SMS2Desk

Open "Cortado SMS2Desk" on your BlackBerry smartphone. Select ENABLE in the menu to activate the application. Can't enable SMS2Desk?

Receiving messages

After activation, you will receive text messages on your BlackBerry smartphone additionally as e-mail with the subject "[SMS] Sender's Phone Number" in your e-mail inbox. PIN messages appear in your e-mail inbox with the subject "[PIN] Sender's PIN Code".

Replying

Use the "Reply" option to answer from the e-mail program to SMS or PIN messages received. Make sure that the subject of your reply message contains "RE: [SMS] Sender's Phone Number" for SMS and "RE: [PIN] Sender's PIN Code" for PIN messages. Clicking "Send" forwards the text of your e-mail reply as an SMS or PIN message to the sender.

Sending messages

To send SMS or PIN messages from your e-mail program, simply create a new e-mail and enter the default e-mail address of your BlackBerry smartphone as the recipient. For SMS messages, use the subject "RE: [SMS] Recipient's Phone Number" and for PIN messages "RE: [PIN] Recipient's PIN Code". Clicking "Send" forwards the text of your e-mail as an SMS or PIN message to the recipient entered.
