Cortado launches a new solution in cooperation with online storage provider Box.net to offer 1 GB of free additional storage space for users with a BlackBerry Internet Service account

Cortado and Box.net have today announced the launch of "Cortado Connect for Box.net," a new solution with optimised access to Internet storage services for BlackBerry® smartphone users with a BlackBerry Internet Service account. The software offers users the ability to manage both their local and online storage, as well as transfer files between them from their BlackBerry smartphone.
"Secure and accessible storage is a crucially important service, and increasingly this function formerly performed by a PC is being replaced by an Internet service. The BlackBerry smartphone is an ideal device for accessing such services," says Dirk Löwenberg, Business Director Cortado Services. "We are proud of the cooperation with Box.net - one of the leading providers in online storage."
The free solution provides secure storage for music, videos and documents as well as the ability to share online files with friends and family. The BlackBerry smartphone is the perfect tool to access and enjoy stored content.
“We are happy to be working with Cortado to offer BlackBerry users an easy way to manage, share and collaborate on their information.” says Karen Appleton, VP of Business Development, Box.net
The solution is available now at www.cortado.com/connect and www.box.net!
