Configuration for RoadSync

Follow the steps below to enable your Symbian S60 smartphone to receive your Cortado e-mails (with one of the following mailbox packages: Cortado Standard, Cortado Plus, Cortado Business, Cortado Business Plus) by Direct Push with RoadSync.

Before you start, please load the installation file (.sis) onto your desktop computer. Then, transfer the file from your computer to your mobile phone using a USB cable, Bluetooth or infrared. Navigate to the .sis file on your phone and open it to install RoadSync.

1. After you have installed RoadSync on your device, go to the »APPLICATIONS« or »INSTALLATIONS« folder in your smartphone’s main menu and choose »ROADSYNC«.

2. A welcome message will appear. Please click »NEXT«.

3. The license agreement will appear. Please click »ACCEPT« to continue.

4. Now, please enter the following information:

User name: Enter your Cortado "Customer no.", e.g. e12345 (the customer number can be found in the "Personal data" section of your Cortado account administration and in the welcome e-mail you have received after registration for your Cortado account under "your username for mobile e-mail and access to your Exchange mailbox from a Mac").

Password: Enter your Cortado password.

Server Name: Enter "mobilemail.cortado.com".

Domain: Enter "cortado.com".

Use SSL: YES (increases the security of a synchronization process by using a secure SSL connection to the server).

Aftwards click »VERIFY SETTINGS«.

5. Choose »YES« and select the internet access point your mobile phone will use to connect with the mail server. (For information about your access point, please contact your wireless carrier.)

6. Click »NEXT«.

7. Click »SELECT«.

8. Choose »OVERWRITE (recommended)« and click »OK« twice.

9. Click »FINSHED!«.

10. Select »OPTIONS«, click »SETTINGS« and choose »SYNC SCHEDULE«. Select for both »PEAK SCHEDULE« and »OFF-PEAK SCHEDULE« the option »PUSH«. Afterwards click »BACK«.

11. Choose »CALENDAR OPTIONS«. Specify whether you want to keep the calendar entries on the mobile phone or delete those entries and replace them with the entries from your Cortado Exchange account when you do the first (initial) synchronization.

Important for Cortado Standard users: Make sure that "Enable Calendar Sync" is disabled as the synchronisation of calendar data is not available with Cortado Standard. Activating this option can cause a failure of the whole synchronisation process.

That´s it! Your handheld is now ready for Direct Push Mail using RoadSync.
