How does Cortado SMS2Desk work?

Cortado SMS2Desk turns incoming SMS text messages into e-mails and addresses these to the e-mail address assigned to the BlackBerry that received the original SMS. Thus, any incoming text message is also arriving as e-mail in your inbox, both on your BlackBerry and the e-mail program you use for that e-mail account on a desktop computer. When replying to this e-mail from your desktop e-mail program or creating an e-mail you want to send as text message, the e-mail text is turned into an SMS text message on your BlackBerry and also sent as text message.

I can’t enable SMS2Desk. What do I have to do?

To enable SMS2Desk after installation, you have to restart your BlackBerry smartphone. Some BlackBerry models require a so-called “hard reset” for this. This means that you have to take out your BlackBerry’s battery and re-insert it after 5 seconds. If your BlackBerry does not restart automatically, you then have to restart it. After restart, you can enable SMS2Desk.

What does the SMS2Desk Premium feature “Enable multi SMS” do?

The “Enable multi SMS” feature available after purchase other premium version of SMS2Desk, allows you to send any length of text as SMS text message. SMS2Desk Premium will create multiple SMS to send your message. To keep control of your text message costs, you can define the maximum number of SMS to be sent via the option “Maximum SMS”.
