Through COVID-19 relief funding, a total of 858 iPads were gradually procured for school use starting in mid-2023, with additional devices being integrated step by step. TRUST-Halle, an experienced technical IT service provider in the region, manages the deployment and integration of these mobile devices for teachers and, primarily, for students.<\/p>\n<p>The need for an MDM system was indisputable. Ren\u00e9 Blume, Consultant at TRUST-Halle, was already familiar with Cortado MDM from other projects. For Mr. Blume, it was clear that the Cortado solution would also be used for the school iPads.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Blume: &#8220;We&#8217;ve already completed other projects with Cortado and knew that this solution worked well for us. It just works.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Cortado MDM as a Central Management Platform<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>By implementing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cortado.com\/en\/features\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cortado MDM<\/a>, TRUST-Halle ensures centralized and efficient device management.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Centralized Management:<\/strong> iPads can be configured, managed, and updated from a single location.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Profile Flexibility:<\/strong> Different policies for teachers and students can be easily implemented.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data Security:<\/strong> Cortado MDM ensures high security standards by leveraging the native iOS security architecture.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Responsive Support:<\/strong> Technical issues are resolved reliably through quick and direct contact with the support team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;The collaboration with Cortado works exceptionally well. When challenges arise, they are addressed quickly and effectively. This is crucial for us, as we need to meet the schools&#8217; expectations,&#8221; emphasizes Ren\u00e9 Blume.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>17 Schools, 858 Devices, and Growing<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trust-halle.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TRUST-Halle<\/a> has now equipped 17 schools in Halle with digital tools. The iPads are distributed as needed, ranging from small class sets with a few devices to larger sets with over 100 iPads. Thanks to Cortado MDM, managing the devices remains scalable even as the number of devices grows.<\/p>\n<p>Educational apps like Anton, Klima App, Leo Dictionary, Geoboard, and Garageband are pushed onto the devices.<\/p>\n<p>The importance of the iPads became particularly evident during the COVID-19 lockdowns.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;During the lockdown, we were able to maintain school operations with the managed iPads. Some schools elsewhere came to a complete standstill. Here in Halle, classes continued,&#8221; said Mr. Blume.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Conclusion: Digital Education That Works<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Cortado MDM has proven to be the right solution for TRUST-Halle. The next batch of iPads is already prepared.
