The Mission:
datadirect, the global specialist for networking and security solutions, has a thirty-member team controlling around the clock German companies’ networks and their branches in more than 27 countries throughout the world. The challenge: Mobile access to sales and technical project data in order to optimize work processes.
The Solution:
Management and sales staff can now access the corporate network via their iPhone and iPad, allowing them to view and edit Office documents for pre- and post-sales. A convenient file preview feature means that potentially unsafe downloads are made unnecessary, while data streams are securely encrypted. Important data is provided to customers directly as a print file or an e-mail attachment.
The Result:
Through the use of Cortado Server, the preparation time for customer talks has decreased enormously. While offers and project graphics were previously created with much effort on the iPad, staff now no longer have to fear that files will be missing when they are dealing with customers. All documents from project folders are now fully available when mobile: White papers, release notes or brochures can be provided to customers on-site, instantly and directly.
I can retrieve and edit all project data in real-time with my iPad. Access via iPad and iPhone, which uses no additional licenses, is a really great and useful feature.
