Supported devices

You can basically use your Cortado Free account with any mobile phone equipped with an e-mail client. To receive e-mails in real time using Push Mail, it is also necessary for your mobile phone to support the IMAP Push (IMAP IDLE) functionality. Otherwise, your e-mails will be sent at preset intervals depending on configuration.

Note for users of Windows Mobile devices: Because Windows Mobile devices use ActiveSync, not IMAP Push (IMAP IDLE) for receiving e-mails in real time, the Push Mail functionality supported by Cortado Free is not available for Windows Mobile devices. For users with Windows Mobile devices, we recommend the Cortado Standard mailbox package, which supports synchronization with ActiveSync and can be used for free for a 30-day test period.
