Configuration for Windows Mobile 5.0
Using the chargeable Cortado Push Mail Services requires a Windows Mobile based end device (version 5.0 or later) on which the Messaging and Security Feature Pack is installed.
Please note: The Direct Push functionality via ActiveSync can not be used with a Cortado Free account.

Select START > PROGRAMS > ACTIVE SYNC. |

Choose »ADD SERVER SOURCE« from the menu. |

Enter mobilemail.cortado.com as server address, activate the control panel This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection«, and click »NEXT« . |

Now, please enter the following data:
- As owner of a Cortado Standard or Cortado Plus mailbox package, enter your customer name, e.g., e12345, as your user name, and your Cortado password as password. You can verify your customer number under "Personal data" in your Cortado account.
- As owner of a Cortado Business or Cortado Business Plus mailbox package, enter your "Login for mobile device" as your user name, and the accompanying password that you received by e-mail with the order confirmation.
Aftwards click »ADVANCED«. |

Choose for »If there is a conflict« the option »REPLACE THE ITEM ON MY DEVICE« and click »NEXT«. |

Now, choose the data you want to synchronize.
Important for Cortado Standard users: Make sure the control panel for »CALENDAR« is not activated as the synchronisation of calendar data is not supported by Cortado Standard. Activating this option can cause a failure of the whole synchronisation process. |

Now, open »SCHEDULE« from the menu. |

Select for both »Sync during... PEAK TIMES« and »Sync during... OFF-PEAK TIMES« the option »AS ITEMS ARRIVE«. Next, the control panel for »SEND OUTGOING ITEMS IMMEDIATELY« needs to be activated. Confirm the settings with »OK«.
Please note: If you want to synchronize your data with Cortado in foreign countries, please activate the control panel for »USE ABOVE SETTINGS WHEN ROAMING« |
