Cortado Exchange Hosting:
Configuration for Windows Mobile 6.0

With this guide you make your Windows Mobile handheld ready for sending and receiving push-mail with Cortado.

1.		Select START > PROGRAMS > ACTIVE SYNC.

2.		Choose »ADD SERVER SOURCE« from the menu.

3.		Enter mobilemail.cortado.com as server address, activate the control panel This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection«, and click »NEXT« .

Now, please enter the following data:

As owner of a Cortado Standard mailbox package, enter your customer name, e.g., e12345, as your user name, and your Cortado password as password. You can verify your customer number under "Personal data" in your Cortado account.
As owner of a Cortado Business Plus mailbox package, enter your "Login for mobile device" as your user name, and the accompanying password that you received by e-mail with the order confirmation.

Aftwards click »ADVANCED«.

5.		Choose for »IF THERE IS A CONFLICT« the option »REPLACE THE ITEM ON MY DEVICE«. For »EVENT LOGGING« you may choose a protocoll (optinal). Finally select your internet access under »CONNECTION« and click »NEXT«.

6.		Now, choose the data you want to synchronize.

7.		Now, open »SCHEDULE« from the menu.

8.		Select for both »Sync during... PEAK TIMES« and »Sync during... OFF-PEAK TIMES« the option »AS ITEMS ARRIVE«. Next, the control panel for »SEND/RECEIVE WHEN I CLICK SEND« needs to be activated. Confirm the settings with »OK«. Please note: If you want to synchronize your data with Cortado in foreign countries, please activate the control panel for »USE ABOVE SETTINGS WHEN ROAMING«

That´s it! Your handheld is now ready to receive e-mails by Direct Push.
