Yes. You can access your Cortado emails with any device that supports POP3 or IMAP together with SMTP or has Wireless ActiveSnyc. Are there any further costs apart from the set fees, which I have to pay for booking the Cortado services?
Further costs may occur depending upon the data volume transferred during usage of the services. Any additional costs depend on your individual mobile phone tariff and will be charged accordingly by your provider. However, many data tariffs already include a specific data volume allowance, meaning no additional costs as long as this volume is not exceeded. Please contact your mobile service provider for further information concerning your data tarif.

After I configured my Windows Mobile handheld for Direct Push Mail, the Active Sync program gets stuck in a loop and keeps trying to resynchronize. What can I do?
You probably have a Cortado Standard account and enabled the "Calendar" option under the data to be synchronized when you configured the handheld. Because synchronization of calendar data not available with Cortado Standard, you must disable this option. To do so, open ActiveSync, select ADD SERVER SOURCE in the menu, and click NEXT to go to the place where you can select the data that is to be synchronized. Disable the control box next to CALENDAR and confirm the change with FINISH.

Why are some email attachments not displayed?
Although all files are checked repeatedly for viruses before they are sent to your Cortado mailbox, some file types could nevertheless be dangerous. For this reason, Cortado prevents files with the following extensions to be sent or received: .bat, .com, .cmd, .exe, .hta, .js, .jsp, .pif, .url, .wsf, .wsh, .vb, .vbs.
Tipp: To receive or send the above file types anyway, you can pack them in a .zip file.

It is also possible to have emails from other mailboxes sent to my handheld with Direct Push?
It is essentially only possible to use the Cortado Direct Push Services for emails that are found in your Cortado mailbox. To have emails sent to your handheld from other mailboxes, it is therefore necessary to set them to be forwarded to your Cortado account. Another alternative will soon also be available: a POP3 fetch service that automatically collects messages from other Cortado mail servers for forwarding to your Cortado mailbox.
