Cortado Exchange Hosting
Configuration for Palm OS
Palm OS based devices require VersaMail and the Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) Update to be set up for Cortado Push Mail services. Please see the Supported Devices pages of Cortado for Palm to learn more.

Select APPLICATIONS > EMAIL. |

Choose ACCOUNTS > ACCOUNT SETUP from the menu. |

Select NEW if you have already set up an email account. |

Now, please enter a name for your Cortado account, e. g. "Cortado". Then select MAIL SERVICE. |

Choose »Exchange ActiveSync« as Mail Service and click NEXT. |

Now, please enter the following data:
- As owner of a Cortado Standard mailbox package, enter your customer name, e.g., e12345, as your user name, and your Cortado password as password. You can verify your customer number under "Personal data" in your Cortado account.
- As owner of a Cortado Business Plus mailbox package, enter your "Login for mobile device" as your user name, and the accompanying password that you received by e-mail with the order confirmation.
Afterwards, click NEXT. |

Now enter your Cortado E-mail address and the Cortado mail server as shown on the screen to the left and select NEXT. |

You can now test your settings by clicking TEST SETTINGS. Finish your setup by selecting DONE. |

After finishing setup of your Cortado account on your Palm device you will be prompted for an Initial Sync. Select YES. |

To check your Push Mail settings, open EMAIL and go to OPTIONS > PREFERENCES. |

Select AUTO SYNC. |
| |

In AUTO SYNC you can see the settings for the data that will be synchronized. Make sure that »As items arrive« is selected under WHEN. Finally, confirm your settings with OK. |
