Cortado Exchange Hosting:
Configuration for iPhone and iPod touch
Follow the steps below to enable real-time synchronization (ActiveSync) between your Cortado Exchange account and your iPhone or iPod touch.
Important notice for iPhone and iPod touch users running iOS 4
The iOS 4.0.1 update and higher is required to synchronize a Cortado Exchange Account via ActiveSync with an iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 4. If you have already installed Apple’s patch for improved exchange synchronization, please delete this following the installation of the update. iPhone and iPod touch with firmware prior to 4.0, and all iPad users can use ActiveSync synchronization without any restrictions. Select »SETTINGS« on your iPhone or iPod touch home screen. |

Choose »MAIL, CONTACTS, CALENDARS« from the SETTINGS menu, then choose »ADD ACCOUNT...«. |

Select »MICROSOFT EXCHANGE«. |

Please enter the following information.
- Email: Enter your Cortado e-mail address.
- Username: Enter your Cortado e-mail address.
- Password: Enter your Cortado password.
- Description: Choose a descriptive name for your mail account, e. g. Cortado.
Click »NEXT«. Your Exchange account information will now be verified. |

If this message appears, please click »ACCEPT«. |

Now enter the server address “mobilemail.cortado.com” under Server. Click »NEXT«. Your account is now being verified. |

In the following window you can now decide what information you want to synchronize. To complete your setup, click »SAVE«. |

Finished! Your iPhone or iPod will now start synchronization of your e-mail, contacts and calendar. When selecting »MAIL« from the home screen, you will have access to all your e-mail folders and from »CONTACTS« and »CALENDAR« to your contacts and appointments – directly from your iPhone or iPod touch.
