Enhanced Exchange Profile and More: New in Cortado MDM

MDM administrators use Cortado ID to access the administration portal. Different authentication methods can now be defined for all administrators within the organization.

This allows you, for example, to enforce the use of 2-factor authentication and prevent the use of external providers such as Google. This increases security when accessing the administration portal.

Renaming Organizations

When managing multiple organizations with Cortado MDM, the name of an organization can now be adjusted in the settings.

Managed iOS/iPadOS Apps on BYOD Devices Removable Only via BYOD App

If private iPhones and iPads are enrolled in Cortado MDM as part of a BYOD policy, users can now only uninstall managed, optional apps via the BYOD app.

This allows device users to continue using optional apps privately if they are not being used for business purposes.

Enhanced Exchange Profile for iOS/iPadOS

The Exchange profile for iOS/iPadOS has been expanded and now supports all currently available configuration options.

These include options for the modern authentication method OAuth, advanced S/MIME configurations for signing and encrypting emails, and options to restrict applications such as Email, Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, and Notes.
