Setting Up Shared iPad for Business Use

Setting up Shared iPad in the enterprise - how it works

When a user logs in with their Managed Apple ID, they are automatically provided with a separate partition of the device's storage. This means that multiple users, each with different needs and app requirements, can use a fully personalized workspace on a single iPad.

Each iPad can be managed remotely via the Cortado MDM web dashboard, so the device administrator doesn't need to have the device in hand to install apps or enforce security policies.

The prerequisites are iPads that meet the necessary hardware requirements and the use of the free Apple Business Manager program, where you enroll the iPads for sharing and create all user accounts >> More about Apple Business Manager.

Thanks to the guest mode feature, users without an account can also share an iPad. As soon as the guest session ends, all data is automatically deleted.
